Journal of Engineering Sciences (JES)
The Journal of Engineering Sciences is published by Sumy State University, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and is one of the country's oldest scientific periodicals from a technical higher education institution, with its first edition dating back to 1994. It was previously titled Bulletin of Sumy State University. Series Technical Sciences and was re-registered under its current name in 2014, Sumdu.
It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal covering urgent issues of high-tech production, new engineering trends, and future technologies. It welcomes theoretical analyses, numerical simulations, and experimental studies in areas such as machines and tools, materials science, computational mechanics, energy-efficient technologies, and environmental protection.
Indexing
The journal is indexed in Scopus, along with DOAJ, with DOI as a permanent article identifier. It is also ranked on SCImago (SJR) with a score of 0.441, classified under Environmental Engineering (Q2). The journal publishes 6 issues per year with manuscripts accepted in English.
